Walk the Talk

In Psalm 78:35-39 we see a people of God who talks the talk of religion but does not walk the walk of a relationship. They are "flattering" God with their lips but not following God with their hearts. They seek to please others with their outward conformity but have not searched their hearts for inward consistency.
As we read through Psalm 78, we read of a generation from time past, but we also see a commonality of our generation. A generation who "flatters" God with our lips but does not follow God with our hearts! Is this a description of you today? Are you one who outwardly conforms to the rules but inwardly rebels? Are you talking the talk but not walking the walk? I encourage you today to examine your heart for this type of attitude. Be honest with yourself and with God, and be real! You will NEVER regret forsaking fake talk and pursuing a real walk with God. Guaranteed!
